Abstract
This pamphlet has sixty-two recipes with the ingredients listed . Chapter titles include : Rice ; Vermicelli ; Soup ; Marinated Dishes ; Boiled Dishes ; Roasted Dishes ; Steamed Dishes ; Fried Dishes ; Sauteed Dishes ; Dressed Dishes ; and Sweets . Each chapter begins with few sentences about the food or technique . After the recipes is a single page glossary of twenty-nine romanized Chinese terms . Fifteen recipes are accompanied by black and white photographs . The pamphlet is subtitled : "Chinese Cookbook : Selected Sixty-two Recipes. "
